Biosphere Reserve

On October 7, 1993, Lanzarote, including all its population centers, was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

IRONMAN Lanzarote

‘Ironman Lanzarote’ was launched in 1992 by Club La Santa. It  was the first Ironman to be staged in Europe and is now considered to be the second most difficult Ironman to complete in the world-  after the notorious Hawaian Ironman.

LZTFW is an event where fashion, technology, music and gastronomy go hand in hand creating a Martian experience in Jameos del Agua, organised by CACT Lanzarote and sponsored by Turismo Lanzarote.
